Insurance & Retirement

Insurance:
A competitive health care package is offered. Family members may be added to the medical insurance program at a group rate.
Life insurance, optional 401K/457 plans, accident/illness policies are also benefits offered.

Tuition Reimbursement:
Up to $3,000 a year.

Wellness Reimbursement:
The city supports overall wellness through financial incentives to attend a gym and/or other types of fitness classes.

Retirement:
Officers participate in the South Carolina Police Officers Retirement System. The city and the officer contribute funds monthly to this program.  You may view the program at South Carolina Police Officer Retirement System
